Join our volunteer programs to improve your photography skills, while contributing to conservation. Share your passion for wildlife and photography and have unparalleled experiences in the African bush. On daily game drives and bush walks you can expect many close encounters of elephants, lions and giraffes just to name a few. You will have plenty of opportunities to capture precious and unique moments whilst witnessing some of Africas most amazing animals in their natural habitat.

Our photography internship is a chance for you to leave a legacy and safeguard the animals you immortalise through your camera lens. Barco Greeff

10 years experience working full time as professional photographer with a passion about Wildlife.

My work is driven by a deep appreciation for the Natural world and the many animals living in it. By using correct technical expertise combined with good understanding of animal behavior, I aim to inspire others to appreciate and protect our planet.

My goal is to help aspiring wildlife photographers to gain the needed knowledge and share their unique experiences and perspectives in a technically correct manner


  • Recommended Equipment:
  • DSRL or mirrorless camera
  • Telephoto lens with 70mm zoom range
  • Wide angle lens 20mm and less



  • Lens 200mm or more
  • 3 X 64gb+ memory cards

  • You need to be 18 years and older
  • Reasonably fit and in good health
  • Be able to read and communicate in English
  • Must provide a valid police clearance certificate

  • 5 game drives in Marakele National Park
  • Daily game drives on the reserve
  • Opportunity to photograph Africa's largest vulture colony
  • Transport up the Kransberg mountain for landscapes & spectacular views
