Mission and Values of Ngala Wilderness
Ngala Wilderness was born out of our passion for wildlife conservation and our desire to make a positive impact on the environment. Inspired by the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of the Gaza province in Mozambique, we recognized the need for a protected area that not only conserves wildlife, but also engages and educates visitors.
We believe that by immersing people in the wonders of nature, we can inspire them to get involved in conservation.
We are committed to promoting conservation education programs, offering eco-friendly accommodation, organizing volunteer programs and conducting wildlife safaris. Our aim is to create a harmonious environment in which both wildlife and local communities thrive.
We are about real measurable change and anyone joining us even for a little period of time can nevertheless have a long-term influence since we measure everything we do, set long-term goals with our local partners and conduct insightful monitoring and assessment of our initiatives.
We take a positive, resilient approach to our work and strive to make realizing our vision a fun experience. Shaping people‘s life’s is something we are deeply committed to. It is in the core of our philosophy and the motivation behind all we do.
“Hambi wo famba enkoveni, lundza rita vonaka.”
As an old Shangaan saying goes.
"Small changes upstream create big changes downstream."
