After an early morning breakfast, we depart for the Pafuri Border Post, where we will cross into Mozambique and enter Limpopo National Park. From there, we travel through the park and continue to the Chicualacuala Border Post, where we will cross into Zimbabwe.

Once border formalities have been completed, we officially enter Gonarezhou National Park. Following a scenic roadside lunch, we continue our journey to our final destination in the northern reaches of the park, where an unforgettable wilderness experience awaits.

Today we bid farewell to Gonarezhou and journey into Mozambique. After crossing through Sango Border Post, we travel into Limpopo National Park, traversing the mighty Limpopo and Mwenezi Rivers en route to the scenic Mugano Lagoon. Along the way, keep an eye out for elephants, antelope, and a variety of birdlife that thrive within this vast wilderness area.

Arriving at Mugano Lagoon, we are welcomed by one of the park's most picturesque settings, where tranquil waters attract an abundance of wildlife. After settling in, we embark on a relaxing afternoon boat cruise across the lagoon, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding wilderness. Watch for hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and elephants gathering along the shoreline as the golden afternoon light creates exceptional photographic opportunities.

As the day draws to a close, enjoy the serenity of the lagoon and a spectacular African sunset before returning to camp for dinner and an evening under the stars.

Set out on an early morning bush walk in search of the scarce and elusive Pel’s Fishing Owl, one of over 400 bird species that call this remarkable wilderness home. After lunch, head out onto the lagoon and river to try your luck at catching the legendary Tigerfish or one of the many other predatory fish species found in these waters. Keep a watchful eye, however, as these waters are also home to large crocodiles and pods of hippos, adding an extra element of excitement to your fishing adventure.

As our safari draws to a close, we cross back into South Africa through Pafuri Border Post and enter the remote northern reaches of Kruger National Park. Along the way, we visit the legendary Crooks Corner, where South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique meet at the confluence of the Limpopo and Luvuvhu Rivers.

After arriving at camp and settling into our accommodation, we head out on our final game drive, taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush one last time as the sun sets on an unforgettable safari adventure.

Following an early breakfast, we set off on the final stretch of our adventure back to Johannesburg.
